As Pesach comes to an end, the question is simple: What are we taking with us?

Every Yom Tov brings inspiration. But it is not meant to stay in the moment. Each one is supposed to leave a ripple that carries into the rest of the year.

There is a powerful Midrash about Kriyas Yam Suf. It says that what a simple maidservant saw at the sea, even the prophet Yechezkel did not see. It was an unbelievable, clear revelation. And still, she remained a maidservant.

The experience alone did not change her.

That is the point. Big moments do not transform us on their own. What matters is what we do with them. Inspiration fades if we do not act on it.

Pesach is full of ideas. Emunah. Freedom. Gratitude. Our relationship with Hashem. We do not need to take everything. If we walk away with one small lesson and actually apply it, that is a huge win.

In many ways, we are living through open miracles right now. Not only in what is happening in the Middle East, but in the survival of the Jewish people as a whole. Rav Yaakov Emden wrote that our survival is a greater miracle than Yetzias Mitzrayim. Mark Twain wondered how we are still here after everything we have been through.

The answer is simple. Hashem loves us and believes in us. No matter where we are, we are never too far. The connection is always there. Like a child coming back to a parent.

Hashem believes we can reconnect. And that belief is meant to help us believe in ourselves.

So as Pesach ends, let us take something with us. Even something small. Use it to get a little closer.

That is how real change happens. And that is how we move one step closer to the Geulah.
